Community Action Council member sought
The El Dorado County Community Action Council currently has one vacancy.
The vacancy is to fill one Low-Income Sector membership. The Community Action Council is seeking an individual or agency to represent the interests and concerns of low-income individuals/families residing in El Dorado County.
The purpose of the El Dorado County Community Action Council is to act in an advisory capacity to the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors and the county Department of Human Services about the needs of the community on issues relating to human services for low-income residents of El Dorado County. The council provides an avenue for collaborative participation of local government, private organizations and private citizens of the community in serving the most vulnerable populations. Community agencies that serve El Dorado County residents are encouraged to apply for membership.
