Cameron Park Crime Watch January 2012

The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:

Shed raided
Jan. 30: Thieves broke into a locked shed on Cameron Park Drive sometime in the last four days.

Expired
Jan. 30: Deputies pulled over a vehicle on Coach Lane for expired registration and reportedly found the 39-year-old driver in possession of stolen property.

Give it back
Jan. 28: Someone busted a pickup’s window and stole a backpack from the vehicle parked on Cambridge Road.

Putting up a fight
Jan. 27: A 60-year-old woman was arrested on Cameron Park Drive after she reportedly attacked a 30-year-old woman and resisted arrest.

Searched and seized
Jan. 27: During a probation search on Cameron Park Drive deputies reportedly found the 42-year-old probationer under the influence of a controlled substance. The man also allegedly had hypodermic needles in his possession.

Warranted
Jan. 27: Deputies served a warrant at a Palmer Drive residence and reportedly found narcotics at the home of the 20-year-old male suspect.

Tricked
Jan. 27: A 78-year-old woman reportedly that she had sent $5,100 to a person pretending to be a relative.

Out for a drink
Jan. 26: A 20-year-old woman reportedly stole alcohol from a Coach Lane store.

Vehicle ransacked
Jan. 22: Someone broke into a car parked on Knollwood Drive. Another vehicle parked on Woodleigh Lane was also burglarized.

Guns gone
Jan. 17: A Hillcrest Drive resident reported two guns missing and provided suspect information.

Early morning burglary
Jan. 16: A thief broke into a vehicle parked on La Crescenta Drive.

Search and arrest
Jan. 15: A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia following a probation search on La Canada Drive.

iSwipe
Jan. 15: A thief smashed a vehicle’s window on Cambridge Road and stole and iPod.

Locks don’t stop
Jan. 15: Someone broke into a locked vehicle parked on Country Club Drive. A second vehicle parked on the same street was also burglarized.

Beer bath
Jan. 14: A man reportedly threw beer on a woman at a Cameron Park Drive restaurant. When confronted he allegedly repeated his sudsy assault. He and the woman left before officers arrived.

No arrest
Jan. 13: A batter was reported on Cameron Park Drive but the alleged victim declined to press charges.

Easy access
Jan. 13: Thieves entered two unlocked vehicles parked on Millbrae Road and stole several items.

Got in this time
Jan. 13: Burglars ransacked a Travois Court home.

Powerless
Jan. 13: A Green Valley Road resident reported the theft of power tools.

Home raided
Jan. 12: A residential burglary was reported on Orinda Circle.

Peeping trio
Jan. 12: A Travois Court resident reported seeing a man looking into her window, When she spotted him he and two other men ran away.

Storage wars
Jan. 11: Someone cut padlocks securing several storage units at a Mira Loma Drive storage facility and ransacked the units.

Pretty petty
Jan. 10: A petty theft was reported on Cambridge Road.

Why are you here?
Jan. 8: A Country Club Drive homeowner reported that for four months a family lived in his newly built residence without his consent.

Explosive situation
Jan. 8: An Oxford Road resident found explosives in a residence left by the previous tenant. The explosives were safely detonated.

Bold burglar
Jan. 7: A Cameron Park Drive business was burglarized during daytime hours.

Break in
Jan. 6: A home on Kimberly Road was burglarized.

At the bar
Jan. 5: Five people were arrested after they allegedly threatened two people at a Coach Lane bar.

Not so safe
Jan. 5: A La Crescenta Drive resident reported that medication and jewelry had been stolen from her locked safe inside her home.

Fighting words
Jan. 5: A verbal disturbance was reported on Coach Lane.

Fight
Jan. 4: Two men, ages 44 and 41, reportedly got into a fight on Coach Lane. No one was arrested.

Lights out
Jan. 3: Deputies conduction a probation search on Cameron Park Drive reportedly found a marijuana growing operation. A 42-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were arrested.

Stagger
Jan. 3: Deputies arrested a 47-year-old man on suspicion of public intoxication on Durock road after the reportedly observed him staggering around.

Caught
Jan. 3: An 18-year-old man was arrested on Green Valley Road after deputies reportedly found the suspect in possession of heroin and hypodermic needles.

Burgled
Jan. 3: A residential burglary was reported on Hillsborough Road.

Good catch
Jan. 1: Deputies pulled over a 28-year-old driver on Cameron Park Drive and discovered that the man had a warrant out for his arrest and was reportedly in possession of stolen property.

New year bummer
Jan. 1: Someone broke into a Cambridge Road residence but nothing appeared to be taken.
