Cameron Park Crime Watch: December 2013

The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:

Fight
Dec. 1: A battery was reported on Coach Lane.

Weaponized
Dec. 1: Deputies investigating a burglary on Cambridge Road reportedly found a man in possession of a metal baton. The 23-year-old suspect was arrested.

Stolen
Dec. 2: A petty theft as reported on Millbrae Road.

Not so grand
Dec. 2: A grand theft was reported on Spring Meadow Road.

Interesting find
Dec. 2: Deputies discovered a man sitting in his vehicle on Coach Lane. During a search they reportedly found drug paraphernalia and arrested the suspect.

Vehicle break-in
Dec. 3: A vehicle burglary was reported on Knollwood Drive.

Mail theft
Dec. 4: A thief stole mail from a Montclair road cluster mailbox, stealing gift cards and medication. Other mail was found nearby and returned to victims.

Busted
Dec. 4: One juvenile and one adult man were cited for alleged possession of marijuana on Cameron Park Drive.

Grab and go
Dec. 6: An unidentified suspect stole items from CVS on Green Valley Road.

Who are you?
Dec. 6: A 38-year-old man contacted on Coach Lane reportedly gave deputies a false name. The man was later identified and allegedly found with drug paraphernalia.

Found
Dec. 7: A stolen vehicle was recovered on Cameron Park Drive.

Royal pain
Dec. 7: A thief broke into a locked vehicle on Royal Drive and stole a purse.

Car full of trouble
Dec. 8: Two men, ages 28 and 35, were arrested on Merrychase Drive after a search of their vehicle reportedly uncovered marijuana,  products to produce synthetic marijuana and an illegal weapon.

Theft
Dec. 9: Thieves stole items from an unlocked vehicle and a garage on McNeil Road.

Missing letters
Dec. 9: Mail was reported stolen from a Valerio Drive mailbox.

Burgled
Dec. 9: A burglary was reported on Cambridge Road.

Fight over firearm
Dec. 10: A woman reported that her father  took a gun from her Coach Lane hotel room and refused to give it back.

More mail missing
Dec. 10: A thief stole mail from a Toronto Road mailbox and later used a victim’s credit card number.

Clear target
Dec. 10: Someone vandalized the rear wind of a vehicle parked on La Crescenta Drive.

Purse pilfered
Dec. 10: A thief broke into a vehicle parked on Cameron Park Drive and stole a purse.

Splitting mad
Dec. 11: A Country Club Drive resident reported his log splitter stolen.

Cash grab
Dec. 11: A 38-year-old man allegedly stole $250 from a Country Club Drive home.

Smash and grab
Dec. 11: A thief busted a vehicle’s windshield on Coach Lane and stole a laptop left inside.

Lost something?
Dec. 12: Personal items were located on Cameron Park Drive and booked into EDSO property for safekeeping.

Suspicious package
Dec. 12: A Holly Hills Lane resident received a box containing two glass vials filled witha  white substance. The package was turned over to deputies.

Cited
Dec. 13: A 50-year-old woman received a petty theft citation after an incident at a Coach Lane business.

Business break-in
Dec. 14: Thieves broke into a Cameo Lane business and stole several items. Other businesses on the street reported vandalism.

Young offender
Dec. 15: A 12year-old boy reportedly resisted deputies on Green Valley Road. When he was subdued officers reportedly found him in possession of cigarettes and a controlled substance.

Dog-gone-it
Dec. 15: A dog was reportedly stolen from a Knollwood Drive residence.

Coin caper
Dec. 15: An unidentified man stole approximately $15 in coins from a Cameron Park Drive restaurant.

Tired of this
Dec. 16: Someone stole tires from a vehicle parked on Toronto Road.

Multiple break-ins
Dec. 16: Thieves targeted vehicles parked on Country Club Drive.

More vandalism
Dec. 17: Vandalism was reported on Knollwood Drive.

Open door
Dec. 17: Burglars entered an unlocked La Canada Drive resident ad stole multiple items.

Gas guzzler
Dec. 18: A Durock Road resident reported that someone siphoned approximately 40 gallons of gas from three vehicles parked int he driveway.

Dropped call
Dec. 18: An 18-year-old man told deputies he dropped his iPhone after ingesting marijuana laced with spice. He identified a 20-year-old man as the person who possibly stole it while he was at the hospital.

Rustic ruckus
Dec. 19: Vandalism was reported on Rustic Road.

Not so merry
Dec. 20: Someone damaged a Merrychase Drive home’s front door during a suspected burglary attempt.

Taken
Dec. 20: A petty theft was reported on Covello Circle.

Sifting through the mail
Dec. 21: Someone rummaged through several Millbrae Road mailboxes. It was unclear if anything was taken.

Not my car!
Dec. 21: A vandal damaged a vehicle parked on Knollwood Drive.

Not your letters
Dec. 21: Deputies arrested a 38-year-old man on Cimmarron Court after they reportedly found the suspect in possession of stolen mail.

Gotcha
Dec. 21: A 16-year-old girl received a shoplifting citation after she allegedly tried to steal from a Coach Lane business.

Wallet found
Dec. 22: A man walking his dog along Cambridge Road found a wallet and turned it over to deputies.

Warranted
Dec. 22: Deputies arrestred a 45-year-oold woman and a 41-year-old man after they reportedly found methamphetamine and one of the suspects had an outstanding warrant.

More mail mischief
Dec. 22: A Sterling Way resident reported that someone tampered with her mail.

Swiped
Dec. 23: A Sudbury Road resident reported a grand theft.

Pried open
Dec. 23: A thief forced open two Royal Drive mailboxes and stole the mail. More mail was reported stolen on Kimberly Road and Hacienda Drive.

Grinch visit
Dec. 24: A thief stole packages left at a Montclair Road home.

Christmas trouble
Dec. 25: Several vehicles parked on Country Club Drive were burglarized.

Shattered
Dec. 26: Someone busted a vehicle’s back window while the car was parked on Coach Lane and stole several items left inside.

Easy access
Dec. 27: A thief stole items from an unlocked vehicle parked on Knollwood Drive.

Gone
Dec. 27: An Orinda Circle resident reported a petty theft.

Sharp eyes
Dec. 27: A man walking along Cambridge Road found a knife in its sheath in the roadway.

Lost something?
Dec. 27: A wallet was found on Coach Lane.

Not your ID
Dec. 29: Deputies contacted a 38-year-old man on Cameron park Drive and reportedly found the suspect in possession of a stolen ID and bank card.

Trouble on Country Club
Dec. 30: A vehicle break-in and a petty theft were reported on Country Club Drive.
