Cameron Park Crime Watch: February 2014

The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:

Car break-ins begin
Feb. 1: A woman reported items stolen from her vehicle parked on Green Valley Road.

He’s watching
Feb. 2: Someone vandalized a Hacienda Road church.

Vandals strike
Feb. 2: A woman reported her vehicle vandalized on Gailey Circle.

Feb. 3: Someone stole items left in front of a Greenwood Lane business.

Feb. 3: Deputies arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of drug possession and a warrant on Coach Lane.

Feb. 5: A possible attempted burglary was reported on Valtara Road.

Mail theft
Feb. 6: A Paiute Court resident reported mail stolen from his mailbox.

Caught in the act
Feb. 6: A Coach lane business’ loss prevention staff reportedly caught a 21-year-old woman stealing items. The suspect received a citation.

Arrests warranted
Feb. 7: Deputies conducted a warrant search at an Arcadia Drive residence and arrested two men on suspicion of drug-related charges.

Feb. 8: Someone stole a cell phone left in an unlocked vehicle parked on Estepa Drive.

Feb. 8: A Holly Hills lane resident reported a weapon missing.

Double trouble
Feb. 9: Two suspects reportedly attempted to steal items from a Coach Lane business.

Feb. 10: A residential burglary was reported on Wilkinson Road.

More vandalism
Feb. 11: Vandals damaged property on Garden Circle.

Easy access
Feb. 11: A wallet was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on Cessna Drive. The victim’s credit card was later used at a local business.

Improper contact
Feb. 12: A Palmer Drive elder care facility employee allegedly touched an elderly man in his private area.

Sharp eye
Feb. 13: A Coach Lane business’ employee found a knife in front of the establishment.

Vandals busy
Feb. 13: Vandalism was reported on Parkdale Lane.

Open door
Feb. 13: A thief stole items from an unlocked vehicle parked on Braemer Drive.

Too much, too young
Feb. 14: Deputies took an allegedly intoxicated 16-year-old girl into custody after contacting her on Country Club Drive.

Parking lot mischief
Feb. 14: Deputies responding to possible drug activity in a Coach Lane parking lot arrested a 33-year-old man on suspicion of drug paraphernalia possession.

Vehicle damaged
Feb. 15: Someone vandalized a vehicle parked on Cameron Park Drive.

Troubled teen
Feb. 15: A 17-year-old girl contacted by deputies on Cameron Park Drive allegedly gave officers a false name after they reportedly found her in possession of drug paraphernalia. The girl was identified and taken to juvenile hall.

Feb. 15: A 40-year-old woman allegedly tried to steal groceries from a Coach Lane store.

Where’s my ride?
Feb. 16: A motorcycle was reported stolen from a Cambridge Road garage.

Bar fight
Feb. 17: A 25-year-old woman was reportedly injured at a Coach Lane bar but did not wish to prosecute suspects.

Feb. 17: Someone broke a Merrychase Drive school’s window.

Feb. 17: Deputies arrested a 33-year-old man with an outstanding warrant on Cambridge Road.

No bomb
Feb. 18: An unknown suspect called in a fake bomb threat at a county building on Durock Road.

Feb. 19: Two men reportedly got into a fight on La Canada Drive. A 35-year-old man was arrested in suspicion of battery.

Feb. 20: Deputies arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of public intoxication on Cameron Park Drive.

Feb. 21: A burglary was reported on Green Valley Road.

Hit and run
Feb. 21: An unidentified woman attacked another woman, in one instance using her vehicle as a weapon, at a Merrychase Drive business. The suspect fled before deputies arrived.

Feb. 21: A thief stole several items from an unlocked vehicle parked on Coach Lane.

Didn’t get a way
Feb. 22: Deputies arrested a 46-year-old woman on suspicion of vehicle theft and related charges after she allegedly admitted to stealing a car on La Cienega Way.

Feb. 22: Thieves stole gift cards and sunglasses left in a vehicle parked on Gailey Circle.

Truck targeted
Feb. 23: Someone caused nearly $9,000 damage to a tow truck parked on Knollwood Drive.

Not so grand
Feb. 24: A grand theft was reported at a Toronto Road home.

More vandalism
Feb. 25: Vandalism was reported on Cimmarron Road.

Not so safe
Feb. 25: A man reported cash taken from a safe deposit box inside a Palmer Drive bank.

Feb. 26: An attempted burglary was reported on Lancelot Court.
