Cameron Park Crime Watch: January 2013

The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:

Theft on Knollwood
Jan. 2: A petty theft was reported on Knollwood Court.

Smash-n-grab
Jan. 3:  A thief smashed the side window of a vehicle parked on Estepa Drive and stole several items. The victim estimated a $740 financial loss.

Taken
Jan. 3: A petty theft was reported on Kimberly Road.

Good catch
Jan. 3: After spotting a stolen vehicle parked in a Coach Lane motel lot, deputies arrested two suspects — A 50-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman — on suspicion of multiple charges.

Too much
Jan. 4: Deputies arrested a 33-year-old man on suspicion of public intoxication on Coach Lane.

Pointing fingers
Jan. 4: A Plateau Circle resident reported a grand theft and named possible suspects.

Open cockpit
Jan. 4: A thief stole items from an unlocked airplane parked on Boeing Road.

Hung out to dry
Jan. 4: Thieves broke into a Los Santos Drive home and stole a washer and dryer.

Missing mail
Jan. 4: Someone pried open several Garden Circle mailboxes.

Gotcha
Jan. 5: Deputies arrested a 22-year-old woman with outstanding warrants on Cimmarron Road. The woman was also charged with drug-related crimes.

Phony postman
Jan. 7: A 16-year-old boy received a citation after deputies reportedly spotted him looking in people’s mail boxes and in possession of stolen mail.

More mail gone
Jan. 9: A Hillcrest Drive resident reported her mail stolen.

Dine-n-dash
Jan. 9: Four diners at a Coach Lane restaurant ate their meals and left without paying.

Delivered but not received
Jan. 10: Someone stole a package left on a Ventana Lane home’s doorstep.

Wheels found
Jan. 10: A bicycle was found on Cambridge Road and booked into EDSO for safekeeping.

Unwelcome guest
Jan. 10: A 35-year-old man reportedly got into a fight with a 55-year-old man who was visiting the suspect’s sister on Los Santos Drive.

Cash grab
Jan. 10: Someone stole cash from a purse left in the bed of a truck parked on Cambridge Road.

Another bike found
Jan. 12: A bike found on Boeing Road was booked into EDSO for safekeeping.

Mail mess
Jan. 13: Mail was found scattered on Boeing Road.

Burgled
Jan. 13: A residential burglary was reported on Starbuck Road.

Three strikes
Jan. 14: Deputies arrested a 20-year-old man on Green Valley Road after he allegedly assaulted and officer and interfered with an investigation. It was alter determine the suspect also had an outstanding warrant.

Just grand
Jan. 16: A grand theft was reported on Santos Circle.

More mail mischief
Jan. 16: Mail was reported stolen on Boeing Road.

Chase down the culprits
Jan. 17: Vandalism was reported on Merrychase Drive.

Bad fight
Jan. 18: A 30-year-old man was arrested on Country Club drive after he reportedly beat up two people causing serious injuries.

Card swiped
Jan. 18: A 27-year-old woman reported her credit card stolen at a Coach Lane bar. A suspect has been identified.

Vandal caught
Jan. 19: Deputies arrested a 28-year-old man who allegedly damaged a vehicle parked on Winterhaven Circle.

Cart full
Jan. 20: An unidentified man filled up a shopping cart and walked out of a Coach Lane store without paying for the items. His truck was open and the vehicle was left running in the parking lot.

Face plant
Jan. 21: A 19-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly kicked another man in the face on La Crescenta Drive.

Purse pilfered
Jan. 22: Someone stole a purse on La Crescenta Drive.

Kickin’ it
Jan. 24: Deputies reportedly spotted a 20-year-old man kicking vehicles parked on Knollwood Drive. When they contacted the suspect the determined him to be too intoxicated to care for himself and took him to jail on suspicion of public intoxication and vandalism.

Gas grab
Jan. 26: A 19-year-old man allegedly stole 15 gallons of gas from the Country Club Drive fire station. He fled the scene leaving behind several empty gas cans.

Storage ransacked
Jan. 27: Thieves stole multiple items from an Alexandrite Drive business’ outdoor storage area.

Rolled away
Jan. 30: A vehicle theft was reported on Rolls Drive.
