Cameron Park Crime Watch: January 2014

The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:

New year find
Jan. 1: Ammunition was found behind a Coach Lane motel.

Left behind
Jan. 2: A woman left her phone wallet on a Cameron Park Drive store shelf and both were stolen. The victim’s credit card was later used at Red Hawk Casino.

Theft
Jan. 2: A petty theft was reported on Knollwood Drive.

Taken
Jan. 2: Someone stole property from a Woodleigh Court resident.

Burgled
Jan. 3: A thief stole items from a vehicle parked on Cambridge Road.

Meds gone
Jan. 3: A 30-year-old man reportedly stole medication from a Mira Loma Drive home. The victim did not desire prosecution.

Tools taken
Jan. 3: A thief stole tools left in an unlocked vehicle parked on Cimmarron Road.

Three-way
Jan. 4: A thief stole approximately $470 in goods and cash from three unlocked vehicles parked in a Cambridge Road Driveway.

Out late
Jan. 4: Deputies cited four juveniles for curfew violations on Mira Loma Drive.

Moving target
Jan. 5: A vehicle on Green Valley Road was damaged by a pellet gun shooter.

Almost in
Jan. 6: Someone tried to kick in a Portillo Court home’s front door.

Rude awakening
Jan. 6: A would-be thief kicked in a Aquamarine Circle home’s front door while the occupants slept inside. The unidentified suspect fled; nothing was taken.

Wheels gone
Jan. 6: A bicycle was reported stolen on Cimmarron Road.

What’s in the pack?
Jan. 6: During a consented search on Cameron Park Drive deputies reportedly found drug paraphernalia in a 38-year-old man’s backpack.

Unwilling to go
Jan. 6: Deputies contacted an 18-year-old on Coach Lane after a reported sword attack. The man reportedly became uncooperative and was arrested.

Rocked
Jan. 7: Someone tossed a rock, damaging a vehicle parked on Fairway Drive.

Open door
Jan. 7: Thieves stole items from an unlocked shed behind a Lariat Drive home.

Damaged
Jan. 7: A vandal caused $500 in damage to an Alexandrite Drive gate.

Missing mail
Jan. 8: Mail was reported stolen on Cameron Park Drive.

Break in
Jan. 8: Thieves broke into a Boeing Road home by busting through a wall. They ransacked a bedroom and stole several items.

Easy access
Jan. 9: A thief stole items from an unlocked vehicle parked on Cambridge Road.

Vandals back
Jan. 9: Vandalism was reported on Cambridge Road.

Here’s your citation
Jan. 9: Deputies issued a citation to a 14-year-old boy who allegedly vandalized an Ashland Drive park.

Sharp mistake
Jan. 11: A 64-year-old man reportedly brandished a weapon during an argument on Cameron Park Drive. The victim requested the suspect be arrested.

Missing a bike?
Jan. 11: A bicycle was found on Coach Lane.

Too much
Jan. 12: Deputies patrolling Cameron Park Drive arrested a 22-year-old man reportedly too intoxicated to care for himself.

More theft
Jan. 12: Someone stole items from an unlocked vehicle parked on Sandhurst Court.

Jan. 12: Thieves stole items from two unlocked vehicles parked on Oakleaf Drive.

Lock your doors
Jan. 13: A theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported on Ribier Way.

Smashed
Jan. 13: Someone busted out a vehicle’s window on Coach Lane and stole items.

Jan. 14: An Oakleaf Drive resident reported that someone stole items from his vehicle parked in the driveway.

Ringless
Jan. 14: A woman reported a ring missing from her Cimmarron Road home.

Delivered and swiped
Jan. 14: A Sage Drive resident reported that a packaged delivered to her home was stolen.

Fleeting
Jan. 16: A thief stole items from an unlocked vehicle parked on Fleet Court.

Tipsy
Jan. 17: Deputies patrolling Cameron Park Drive arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of public intoxication.

Spare change
Jan. 17: A burglar stole a change container at a Coach Lane fast food business.

Punch drunk love
Jan. 18: A 29-year-old man reportedly punched a 22-year-old man who was dancing with a female friend of the suspect’s on Coach Lane.

Double trouble
Jan. 18: Deputies spotted an allegedly intoxicated 33-year-old woman on Coach Lane and, upon learning her identity, discovered she had outstanding traffic warrants.

Out cold
Jan. 18: A 27-year-old man on Coach Lane was reportedly knocked unconscious by an unknown suspect.

Not so grand
Jan. 18: A grand theft was reported on Coach Lane.

Pipe down
Jan. 18: Deputies arrested a 21-year-old man on Coach lane after reportedly finding the suspect in possession of a pipe used to smoke heroin.

More excitement on Coach
Jan. 19: Deputies patrolling Coach Lane arrested a 25-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man on suspicion of drug-related charges.

Copper theft
Jan. 20: Thieves broke into a Green Valley Road business’ fenced yard and stole $1,400 worth of copper wire.

Break-in
Jan. 20: A woman reported that someone burglarized her vehicle parked on Green Valley Road.

Searched and seized
Jan. 20: Deputies arrested a 56-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman on suspicion of drug-related charges after a probation search on Coach Lane.

Pretty petty
Jan. 21: A petty theft and vandalism were reported on Green Valley Road.

More car trouble
Jan. 21: A vehicle break-in was reported on Cambridge Road.

Undesignated driver
Jan. 22: A Christa Court resident reported finding an unidentified man in the victim’s vehicle. The victim started his car, went inside for a few minutes and returned to see the suspect in the driver’s seat. The man fled the scene on foot.

Jan. 22: A petty theft was reported on Toronto Road.

Vandals busy
Jan. 23: Vandalism was reported on Alcadar Court.

Jan. 23: A La Crescenta Drive resident reported that her ex-roommate stole items.

Packaged swiped
Jan. 23: Someone stole packages delivered to a Wentworth Road home.

Close call
Jan. 24: An attempted burglary was reported on Surry Lane.

Snatched
Jan. 24: A petty theft was reported on Bristol Court.

Injured pup
Jan. 24: A dog left on an Arthur Court patio was somehow injured.

Jewel theft
Jan. 27: A Chelsea Road resident reported his jewelry box stolen.

Forced in
Jan. 27: Burglars broke into a Twin Oaks Road home and stole several items.

Family feud
Jan. 27: A 27-year-old man reportedly assaulted his mother and brandished a weapon at another man at a Kimberly Road home.

Smash and grab
Jan. 27: A thief on Coach Lane busted out a vehicles window and stole items.

Not the truck
Jan. 28: A woman reported that someone vandalized her truck parked on Cimmarron Road.

Mail swiped
Jan. 28: A thief stole mail from a Hacienda Drive mailbox.
