Cameron Park Crime Watch: July 2014
The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:
July 1: Deputies detained several minors and arrested several adults after receiving a call that minors were drinking alcohol at a La Crescenta Drive home.
July 2: A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property on Cambridge Road.
July 3: Someone keyed a vehicle parked on Country Club Drive.
What are those for?
July 3: A 36-year-old man received a citation on Coach Lane after deputies reportedly found him in possession of burglary tools.
July 4: Deputies cited a 52-year-old allegedly caught trespassing on Coach Lane property.
July 4: Deputies arrested a 49-year-old man on suspicion of public intoxication on Garden Circle. The suspect was later released.
July 6: A possible burglary attempt was reported on Knollwood Drive.
July 6: Deputies spotted an abandoned bicycle on Camerosa Circle. The bike was taken to the Sheriff’s Department for safe keeping.
In the way
July 7: A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of obstructing an officer as well as possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on Meder Road.
July 7: Deputies arresting a 26-year-old man on an outstanding warrant reportedly found the suspect in possession of marijuana.
Smash and grab
July 8: A thief busted a vehicle’s back window on Bass Lake Road and stole a purse left inside.
Hit and run
July 8: A 21-year-old man was reportedly assaulted by an unidentified man at a Coach Lane bar.
On the job
July 8: Someone broke a vehicle’s window on Royal Drive while the car’s owner was at work.
July 9: Deputies cited a 17-year-old boy who was reportedly found intoxicated on La Crescenta Drive and out past curfew. The teen was released to a parent.
July 9: A burglary was reported on Green Valley Road; another was reported on Cameron Park Drive.
July 11: Vandalism was reported at a Merrychase Drive school.
July 11: A 51-year-old Sage Drive resident reported that his roommate, 42, pushed him several time during an argument. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of battery.
July 12: Deputies arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of public intoxication on Amethyst Drive.
July 12: Someone stole a car parked at a Meder Road residence.
July 13: Someone stole the valve caps from a vehicle’s tires on Cambridge Road.
July 13: A 21-year-old woman contacted on La Crescenta Drive was reportedly found with drug paraphernalia, including a glass pipe and tin foil with a brown, tar-like residue.
July 13: Deputies arrested a 41-year-old probationer following a traffic stop on Country Club Drive.
July 13: A 49-year-old woman was arrested on Cameron Park Drive after deputies discovered she had outstanding warrants. The suspect was also allegedly in possession of a controlled substance.
July 14: A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug possession on Cameron Park Drive.
July 14: Someone vandalized several Meder Road mailboxes.
July 14: Deputies served a warrant on Coach Lane and arrested a 50-year-old woman who was also allegedly in possession of drugs.
In the attic
July 14: A 28-year-old man reportedly fled to the attic after deputies served a warrant at a Garden Circle home. Officers reportedly found a large amount on methamphetamine; the suspect was arrested.
July 16: Deputies responding to a possible fight on Palmer Drive reportedly found one suspect under the influence of methamphetamine.
Sleep it off
July 16: A man on Greenwood Lane was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.
July 16: Deputies reportedly found a 34-year-old intoxicated man passed out against a pole on Coach Lane. He was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.
Another warrant search
July 16: A man was arrested on Green Valley Road after deputies served a warrant and also reportedly found the suspect in possession of methamphetamine.
July 17: Someone vandalized a vehicle parked on Cimmarron Road.
July 18: Deputies arrested two 47-year-old men on Green Valley Road after reportedly finding them in possession of methamphetamine and hypodermic needles.
July 18: Someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked on Sterling Way and went through the items in the glovebox. Nothing appeared to be missing.
July 18: Vandals damaged property on Alhambra Drive.
At the light
July 19: An 18-year-old man told deputies he was in his vehicle at a stoplight on Meder Road when an unknown subject dragged him out of his car, at which time the victim hit his head on the ground and was knocked out. He awoke and found his wallet had been stolen.
July 19: Deputies arrested a 21-year-old man on Green Valley Road after reportedly finding the suspect in possession of marijuana (packaged for sale) and concentrated cannabis.
July 19: A thief busted a vehicle’s window on Hacienda Road and stole several items.
Trouble in the passenger seat
July 22: Deputies pulled over a vehicle on Cameron Park Drive and reportedly found the 35-year-old passenger in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
July 23: Suspects stole groceries from Food 4 Less on Coach Lane.
July 23: A thief broke into a Meder Road residence and stole cash.
Where’s my wallet?
July 24: A man reported his wallet missing on Cameron Park Drive.
Bad for business
July 25: Thieves broke into a Cameron Park Drive business.
Trying to get in
July 25: Locks were damaged at a Palmer Drive building.
July 26: A deputy patrolling on Green Valley Road found two stolen vehicles.
Not a dump!
July 28: Illegal dumping was reported on Knollwood Court.
July 28: Deputies serving a warrant on Coach Lane reportedly found three suspects counterfeiting checks. The male suspects, ages 25, 42 and 53, were also reportedly in possession of narcotics and a weapon.
July 29: A thief broke into a vehicle parked on Knollwood Drive and stole several items.
Lost a pack?
July 29: A back pack was found on Country Club Drive.
July 30: Someone stole a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked on Gailey Circle.
Out of order
July 30: A 59-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct on Sterling Drive.
