Cameron Park Crime Watch: September 2013

The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:

Hit and run
Sept. 1: A Driver fled the scene of a Coach Lane crash in which he backed into a parked car. The suspect was alter located and arrested.

Cash grab
Sept. 1: A 20-year-old man allegedly grabbed cash out of a man’s hand. The victim had just withdrawn money from a Cameron Park Drive ATM.

High times
Sept. 1: Deputies arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of possessing marijuana after reportedly spotting the drug in a vehicle during a Granada Drive traffic stop.

Bad influence
Sept. 3: Deputies arrested 30-year-old man suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance on Cambridge Road.

Family dispute
Sept. 3: A Cimmarron Road resident reported that his niece stole a video game system though other family members deny the Kansas teen has the item.

Too much
Sept. 4: An allegedly intoxicated 25-year-old man was arrested on La Crescenta Drive.

Need a rest
Sept. 4: Deputies responded to a report of a man lying in the middle of Virada Road. They later found the “highly intoxicated” 21-year-old suspect and took him in for mental evaluation.

Sneaky staff
Sept. 4: A Robin Lane employer reported a possible theft by a staff member.

Vehicle break in
Sept. 4: Someone broke into a car parked on Knollwood Drive and stole several items.

Out of control
Sept. 5: Deputies arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance on Los Santos Drive.

Sept. 6: A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on Cameron Park Drive.

Another partier
Sept. 7: Deputies arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of public intoxication on Coach Lane.

Converter thefts
Sept. 7: Two catalytic converters were stolen from vehicles parked on Mira Loma Drive.

Off to jail
Sept. 8: Deputies arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of public intoxication on Coach Lane.

Not so good
Sept. 9: A 40-year-old man was arrested on La Crescenta Drive after deputies discovered the suspect had outstanding warrants and was reportedly driving on a suspended license.

Shed burglarized
Sept. 10: A thief broke into a Palmer Drive shed and stole items.

Sept. 12: Someone attempted to steal a vehicle’s exhaust system on Coach Lane.

Sept. 12: A thief stole items from a vehicle parked on Chelsea Road.

Sticky fingers
Sept. 13: A 27-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were arrested after reportedly shoplifting at a Coach Lane store.

Lousy letters
Sept. 13: Vandals scratched letters into the glass of a Cameron Park Drive business’ glass doors and windows.

On camera
Sept. 13: A 44-year-old woman was caught on camera trying to steal items from a Coach Lane grocery store.

Vandals attack
Sept. 15: Vandals smashed multiple mailboxes on Sudbury Road. One mailbox was stolen.

Sept. 15: Someone threw a rock through a vehicle’s rear window on Este Vista Drive and a Palmer Drive resident reported that someone threw a cinder block through her windshield.

Double hit
Sept. 17: A Lancelot Court resident reported that someone broke into two vehicles parked at the home during the last week. A wallet was taken.

More car trouble
Sept. 17: A vehicle was burglarized on Country Club Lane.

Party’s over
Sept. 19: Deputies arrested a 60-year-old woman on suspicion of public intoxication on Green Valley Road.

Another vehicle targeted
Sept. 20: A thief broke into a vehicle parked on Coach Lane.

Easy score
Sept. 20: Someone stole a wallet left in an unlocked vehicle parked on Cambridge Road.

Just grand
Sept. 20: A Perlett Drive resident reported a grand theft.

Taken in
Sept. 20: Deputies arrested a 47-year-old man on suspicion of public intoxication on Country Club Drive.

Sept. 21: A vandal broke two vehicle’s windows on Fairway Drive.

Cleaned out
Sept. 22: A Cambridge Road resident reported several pieces of jewelry missing after a local cleaning company’s employees cleaned her house.

Lights out
Sept. 23: Someone stole a flashlight from an unlocked vehicle parked on Royal Park Drive.

More vehicle mischief
Sept. 23: A Garden Circle resident reported a vehicle burglary.

Sept. 24: Vehicle break-ins were reported on Gateway Drive and Camerosa Circle.

Supplies swiped
Sept. 24: Thieves broke into a Gailey Drive home and stole building supplies.

Sept. 24: A Burglary was reported on Los Santos Drive.

Dumpster diving
Sept. 25: Deputies responded to a report of a man digging through the trash on Coach Lane. When they contacted the suspect they reportedly found him in possession of stolen copper wire.

Vandals strike
Sept. 25: Vandalism was reported on Royce Drive.

Sept. 25: Deputies arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of theft and reportedly found him to be under the influence of drugs on Coach Lane.
