Cameron Park Crime Watch: September
The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:
Un-Merry
Sept. 2: Deputies responding to a call on Merrychase Drive arrested a 32-year-old woman on suspicion of public intoxication.
That’s not yours
Sept. 3: A La Canada Drive resident reported theft from his apartment, naming a roommate in the process of being evicted as the possible suspect. Deputies arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of possessing drugs.
Open door
Sept. 4: A thief made off with items left in an unlocked vehicle parked on Boeing Road.
Not my car!
Sept. 5: Vandals damaged a vehicle parked on Bertella Road.
Don’t ride with strangers
Sept. 5: An 18-year-old man reported that he accepted a ride from an unknown man on Cameron Park Drive, during which time the driver allegedly asked for sexual favors.
Short joy ride
Sept. 6: Thieves stole a vehicle from a Coach Lane car lot, damaged the business’ fence and abandoned the vehicle in a nearby field.
Vandals strike
Sept. 6: An El Norte Road resident reported vandalism.
Tipsy
Sept. 7: Deputies arrested a 42-year-old man on suspicion of public intoxication on Palmer Drive.
Empty house
Sept. 8: Someone broke into a vacant residence on La Canada Drive.
Caught in the car
Sept. 9: A 21-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were arrested in suspicion of possession of marijuana after deputies reportedly found the pair sitting in a vehicle parked on Knollwood Drive.
Here’s your citation
Sept. 10: While impounding a vehicle on Coach Lane the deputy reportedly discovered the vehicle’s 19-year-old drive in possession of marijuana. He issued the man a citation.
Shattered
Sept. 12: Someone using and air gun shot out the back window of a vehicle parked on Fairway Drive.
Burgled
Sept. 12: A Wentworth Road resident reported a burglary.
Stabbed
Sept. 12: Deputies reportedly found a woman in Durock Road with a knife imbedded in her leg. There are no suspects at this time.
Down and out
Sept. 13: Deputies responded to a Coach Lane business where they reportedly found a 29-year-old woman unconscious. She was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
Justice for kitty
Sept. 13: A Sandhurst Drive resident reported that someone killed her cat a month ago and she wanted the information forwarded to Animal Services.
Apartment targeted
Sept. 13: Thieves broke into a La Crescenta Drive apartment and stole items.
No Rx
Sept. 14: A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance on La Canada Drive after he reportedly couldn’t produce a prescription for the drugs.
Unfair
Sept. 14: A vehicle was vandalized on Fairway Drive.
Big fight
Sept. 14: Five alleged gang members reportedly attacked a 17-year-old boy on Green Valley Road.
Underage
Sept. 14: Two 17-year-olds and two 16-year-olds were busted allegedly drinking alcohol on La Canada Drive.
Mischief on Durock
Sept. 15: Thieves stole a cash register from a business and a generator from a trailer, all on Durock Road. It’s unknown if the cases are related.
Cited
Sept. 19: Deputies cited a 27-year-old man for an alleged petty theft on Coach Lane.
Funny money
Sept. 19: A 53-year-old woman reportedly tried to use a counterfeit bill at a business on Palmer Drive. Deputies do not believe the woman realized the money was fake.
Car break in
Sept. 20: Someone burglarized a vehicle parked on Los Santos Drive.
In the lot
Sept. 20: A Coach Lane bar patron returned to her vehicle and reportedly found it damaged.
Tools taken
Sept. 21: Thieves forced open a Durock Road business’ gate and stole several tools from the business.
Time to check out
Sept. 21: Deputies conducting a probation search at a Coach Lane motel arrested a 44-year-old man on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
Baggage claim
Sept. 22: Coach Lane Safeway employees found a suitcase and turned it over to the Sheriff’s Department.
Out of control
Sept. 22: A 30-year-old, allegedly intoxicated man reportedly drove to his parents’ Plateau Circle home, made threats and damaged property. He was arrested.
What’s in the car?
Sept. 23: Deputies conducting a traffic stop on Country Club Drive reportedly found drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and issued the driver a citation.
Looks suspicious
Sept. 24: Deputies investigated a possible burglary attempt on Berry Road.
