Crime Watch: Jan. 18-25
The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:
Pipe down
Jan. 18: A 16-year-old boy received a citation after he was allegedly caught with a smoking pipe on a Harvard Way school campus.
No smoking
Jan. 19: A 15-year-old boy will head to court after a deputy reportedly found him in possession of smoking paraphernalia and a cigarette on Valley View Parkway.
Here you go
Jan. 21: Deputies took a 16-year-old boy home to his dad after reportedly finding the teen intoxicated on Harvard Way.
Scrambled
Jan. 22: A Warren Lane resident reported that someone threw eggs at his home and vehicle.
Shady crime
Jan. 22: Thieves broke into a St. Andrews Drive business as stole about 100 pairs of sunglasses.
Royal pain
Jan. 23: A thief broke into a vehicle parked on Queen Anne Court and stole cash.
Burgled
Jan. 23: A burglary was reported on Agora Way.
Rummaging roommate?
Jan. 23: A 19-year-old woman living in a Valley View Parkway apartment reported theft of personal items. She suspects a roommate.
Open door
Jan. 23: A theft from an unlocked vehicle on Whistlers Bend Way was reported.
Unsuccessful heist
Jan. 25: Thieves tried to steal the stereo from a vehicle parked on Valley View Parkway but could not get it out.
