EDH Crime Watch: April 26 through May 2
The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:
Thieves at work
April 26: Someone stole a generator, air compressor, tools and a quad from a garage at a Carmen Drive home under construction.
Jumping in
April 27: A 48-year-old, allegedly intoxicated man reportedly jumped into a fountain at a Park Drive shopping center and held off deputies for 13 minutes before being arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.
Head injury
April 28: Deputies arrested a 47-year-old man who allegedly pushed a 43-year-old man to the ground on Crocker Drive, causing the victim to hit his head.
Smashed
April 28: A thief busted out the window of a vehicle parked on Salmon Falls Road and stole items.
Busted
April 29: A 20-year-old employee at a Robert J. Mathews Parkway business was reportedly caught stealing from a customer’s purse.
Jewel theft
April 29: Burglars forced entry into a Patterson Way home and stole jewelry.
Rock tossed
May 2: Someone threw a rock through a Valley View Parkway apartment’s window.
Stereo swiped
May 2: A thief broke into a vehicle parked on Souza Drive and stole more than $3,000 worth of stereo equipment.
