EDH Crime Watch: Aug. 15-21

The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:

Greased
Aug. 15: A Crocker Drive resident reported that he saw his neighbor throw grease from a barbecue onto the reporting party’s vehicle.

Break in
Aug. 17: Thieves stole items from ┬álocked vehicle parked on Copperwood Court and later attempted to use the victim’s bank card in Sacramento County.

Busted
Aug. 17: A thief broke a vehicle’s window on Post Street and stole items left inside.

Jewel heist
Aug. 18: Burglars forced their way into a Knight Lane residence and stole more than $8,000 worth of jewelry.

Out for a drink
Aug. 20: A 19-year-old man allegedly stole a bottle of vodka from a Francisco Drive business. When confronted the suspect reportedly gave deputies a false name. He was later positively identified and arrested.

In the brush
Aug. 20: Someone found a bicycle in the brush along a Post Court walking path.
