EDH Crime Watch: Aug. 21-26

The following information was taken from El Dorado County Sheriff’s reports:

Jewel theft
Aug. 21: A Tam O Shanter Drive resident reported three necklaces missing from her jewelry box.

Mystery caller
Aug. 21: A woman identifying herself as “Mary” allegedly called a woman who left her wallet at the Town Center McDonald’s and said she had the wallet and would return it. However, the victim never received her wallet and the staff at McDonald’s has said they have no knowledge of the incident.

Undelivered
Aug. 21: Someone stole packages left on a Berkshire Drive front porch.

Fight
Aug. 22: A battery was reported on Post Street.

Taken
Aug. 22: A theft was reported on Montrose Way.

Break-in
Aug. 23: A thief broke into a vehicle parked on Sophia Parkway and stole several items.

Out of town
Aug. 24: Someone broke into a Latham Lane home while the owners were out of town. Items were strewn about the home though it’s unclear if anything was taken.

Mislabeled
Aug. 24: Someone stuck wine labels on a Park Drive school’s property.

Gone
Aug. 26: A theft was reported on Park Drive.

Lost and found
Aug. 26: An Aberdeen Lane resident reported a package stolen from her porch. Deputies contacted a suspect, who turned over the package.

Smash and grab
Aug. 26: Someone busted a vehicle’s window while the car was parked on Post Street and stole several items.
