EDH Crime Watch: Aug. 22-28

The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:

Rode away
Aug. 22: A 16-year-old boy reportedly took his father’s motorcycle without permission from their Calaveras Drive home.

Behind the camera
Aug. 22: Two teenage boys walking on Highland Hills Drive reported that a man followed and photographed them.

Hacked
Aug. 23: A hacker stole $24,000 from an Aberdeen Lane resident’s online bank account. A suspect has been identified.

Score
Aug. 23: Deputies executing a search warrant on Boulder Ridge Road reportedly found a butane extraction lab, marijuana and hash oil. A 27-year-old man was arrested.

Shady
Aug. 23: A thief broke into an El Dorado Hills Boulevard optometrist’s office and stole several pairs of expensive sunglasses.

Gas guzzler
Aug. 23: Someone stole gas from a Concordia Drive resident.

Enraged
Aug. 23: Deputies arrested a 44-year-old man on Salmon Falls Road after the suspect allegedly pushed a man off his bike, assaulted his and threatened to kill him.

In the car
Aug. 23: A laptop and accessories were stolen from a vehicle parked on Kings Canyon Drive.

Burgled
Aug. 24: A burglary was reported on Hills Court.

Off-leash
Aug. 24: A woman walking on Ridgeview Drive allegedly had her dog off-leash and it attacked another dog on its leash. When the victim pet owner confronted the unidentified woman the suspect reportedly tried to hit and kick the victim.

Dumped
Aug. 25: A gun safe that had obviously been pried open was recovered near a Valley View Parkway trash area.

Forced in
Aug. 25: A thief stole several items from a locked vehicle parked in Town Center.

Break-in
Aug. 28: A garage burglary was reported on Mertola Drive.

Another vehicle targeted
Aug. 28: A thief stole several items from a vehicle parked Mesa Verdes Drive.

Almost
Aug. 28: An attempted burglary was reported on Beckett Lane.
