EDH Crime Watch: Aug. 8-15
The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:
Busy vandals
Aug. 8: Vandalism was reported on Town Center Boulevard and Corsica Drive.
Letters lifted
Aug. 9: A Springburn Way resident reported her mail stolen.
Vehicle targeted
Aug. 11: Vandals damaged a vehicle pared on Town Center Boulevard.
Caught
Aug. 11: Deputies arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion of vandalism on Valley View Parkway.
Just in time
Aug. 11: Nine suspects ages 17 and 18 were arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats when they reportedly showed up at a Ravenshoe Way home after allegedly sending threatening messages to the victim.
Look, a wallet
Aug. 12: A wallet was turned over to deputies in Town Center.
Tech theft
Aug. 12: Thieves broke into a Valley View Parkway apartment and stole two laptops and a Wii gaming system.
Looks suspicious
Aug. 13: A 46-year-old man went to jail after deputies responding to a suspicious person report in Town Center spotted the suspect, who was allegedly in possession of a controlled substance.
I want my backpack back
Aug. 14: Someone broke into a vehicle parked at Town Center and stole a backpack.
Push comes to shove
Aug. 14: Two men ages 70 and 56 reportedly got into a shoving match when arguing about the price of a service at a Breese Circle home.
Online justice
Aug. 15: A Villagio Drive resident reported an online theft and the suspect was arrested in Georgia.
