The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:
Work out this mystery
Dec. 5: An Oak Ridge High School student reported his iPhone stolen from his PE locker. Deputies have no suspects or leads.
Beer run
Dec. 5: A caterer reported beer stolen from her truck parked on Raleigh Way.
Busted
Dec. 6: A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary in Town Center.
Powerless to stop it
Dec. 6: A woman reported her purse stolen from a vehicle parked on Powers Drive. The victim’s debit cards was later used at several Citrus Heights businesses.
Can’t get in
Dec. 7: A Concordia Drive resident reported that a man tried to break into his home through the front door, causing significant damage. A 24-year-old man was arrested.
Door damaged
Dec. 7: Vandalism was reported on Manning Drive.
Locker raided
Dec. 7: Thieves broke into a storage rental on Hidden Acres Drive and stole several items.
Golden opportunity
Dec. 8: Burglars forced their way into a Golden Foothill Parkway business and stole items.
Left stranded
Dec. 8: A woman reported her catalytic converter stolen from her vehicle parked in the Vine Street parking lot.
Return to sender
Dec. 9: Someone vandalized a Finders Way mailbox.
Brazen thief
Dec. 9: A burglar broke into a vehicle parked in a Park Drive driveway while the vehicle’s owner was inside the residence.
Vandals busy
Dec. 10: Vandalism was reported on Malcolm Dixon Road.
Grabby Grinch
Dec. 12: A Town Center business reported a theft by a possible known suspect.
