EDH Crime Watch: Feb. 28-March 9
The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:
Break in
Feb. 27: A Pendleton Drive resident reported a vehicle burglary.
Swiped
Feb. 27: A petty theft was reported on Arenzano Way.
Bad influence
Feb. 28: Deputies arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance on Valley View Parkway.
Open door
Feb. 28: Thieves stole items from two unlocked vehicles parked on Platt Circle.
More theft
Feb 28: Vehicle burglaries were reported on Beechwood Drive, Haeling Place and Halifax Way.
Easy access
Feb. 28: Thieves took advantage of an open garage on Kensington Drive and stole several items.
Got the time?
Feb. 28: A watch valued at approximately $5,000 was reported stolen on Greenview Drive.
Unplugged
Feb. 28: Someone removed the lid from a security system’s box on the outside of a Promontory Point residence and unplugged the telephone line.
Dumped
Feb. 28: Someone threw a stolen safe in a trash bin on Embarcadero Drive. The safe was open and empty. The case was forwarded to Rancho Murietta PD.
Tossed in the bushes
Feb. 28: A driver’s license, Social Security Card and other personal items were found in the bushes along Valley View Parkway. The items were turned in for safekeeping.
“Keyed” off
March 1: Someone keyed a vehicle parked in a Tea Rose Drive driveway.
Another vehicle struck
March 1: A vehicle burglary was reported on Dana Loop.
Too young
March 3: Deputies arrested a 16-year-old, allegedly intoxicated boy on Francisco Drive.
Missing a card?
March 3: A credit card found on Vine Street was turned into the Sheriff’s Department.
Fight
March 4: Two men reportedly got into a fight on Oak Tree Circle. No one desired prosecution.
Out of order
March 9: Deputies arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of disorderly conduct on Brackenwood Place.
