The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:
Rocked
Jan. 11: Someone smashed the front passenger window of a vehicle parked on Valley View Parkway and stole a guitar.
My jewels!
Jan. 11: A Pescara Place resident reported some of her jewelry stolen.
Picture this
Jan. 11: A thief spotted and stole a camera left in a vehicle parked on Valley View Parkway.
Family feud
Jan. 12: A 19-year-old man went to jail after he reportedly choked his mother Stonehurst Drive and resisted arrest.
Jumpers
Jan. 12: Three juveniles and a 20-year-old man were arrested after deputies chased them down near Collinswood Drive in response to a call alerting officers that the men were seen jumping fences to get into back yards. A residential burglary was later reported in the area.
Doobie dump
Jan. 12: Someone dumped trash and soil from potted marijuana plants along Green Springs Road.
Overnight raid
Jan. 13: Thieves stole items from a Coral Bells Drive garage left open all night.
Transient approached
Jan. 13: Deputies contacted a known transient on Windplay Drive and reportedly found a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia amongst the 48-year-old man’s property.
Picked out
Jan. 13: A deputy approached a group of teens at a Valley View parkway apartment complex and reportedly found a 16-year-old boy in possession of marijuana. A 15-year-old boy allegedly had cigarettes.
Purse snatched
Jan. 14: A thief broke into a vehicle parked on Sophia Parkway and stole purse left inside.
Sneaks at school
Jan. 14: Someone broke into a vehicle parked on Harvard Way during a school function.
TP’d
Jan. 15: A Manning Drive resident reported that someone vandalized his home with toilet paper and graffiti.
Another break in
Jan. 15: A residential burglary was reported on Monte Verde Drive.
Rooftop theft
Jan. 16: A Windplay Drive building owner reported that someone stole copper wire from the roof.
More theft
Jan. 17: A grand theft was reported on Archetto Drive.
Walked away
Jan. 17: A theft was reported on Walker Park Drive.
Not cool
Jan. 17: Thieves stole four industrial-sized air conditioners from a cell tower on Latrobe Road.
