The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:
Locked or not?
Jan. 17: A theft victim reported a grand theft from a possibly unlocked vehicle parked on Stratford Circle.
Can’t get away
Jan. 19: An 18-year-old man was cited after he allegedly tried to steal alcohol from a Francisco Drive store.
Lights out
Jan. 20: A Vista Mar Drive resident reported that someone smashed a light fixture near his home.
Out of date
Jan. 21: Deputies cited an 18-year-old man who they say knowingly presented an expired license when asked for identification on Harvard Way.
Swiped
Jan. 22: A petty theft was reported on Brisbane Circle.
Items stolen
Jan. 22: A vehicle burglary was reported on Hearst Place.
Funny money
Jan. 23: An unidentified suspect used counterfeit money at an El Dorado Hills Town Center business.
