EDH Crime Watch: Jan. 24-30

The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:

Laptop missing
Jan. 24: A Laptop computer was reported stolen from the Post Street post office.

Big trouble
Jan. 25: Deputies on Park Drive arrested a 44-year-old man on suspicion of  petty theft with priors, failing to yield, driving on a suspended license and a warrant.

Ugly view
Jan. 26: Vandalism was reported on Vista Mar Drive.

Young offender
Jan. 26: A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of petty theft in El Dorado Hills Town Center.

Faking it
Jan. 27: A deputy spotted fake registration tags on a vehicle traveling on Saratoga Way. During the traffic stop, the 40-year-old driver was reportedly found to be unlicensed and in possession of drug paraphernalia, which led to his arrest.

Troubled teen
Jan. 28: Deputies completed a battery report on Warwick Place in which a 17-year-old boy allegedly attacked a 50-year-old man.

Targeting a victim
Jan. 29: A thief stole items from a vehicle parked on Post Street and later used the victim’s credit card at the Folsom Target.

Workout bummer
Jan. 29: Someone stole a wallet and cell phone from the Post Street sports club.

Easy access
Jan. 30: A thief stole items from an unlocked vehicle parked on Valley View Parkway.
