EDH Crime Watch: July 18-24
The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:
July 18: A woman reported a road rage incident on Salmon Falls Road.
July 19: A 19-year-old man and two women, ages 18 and 19, allegedly took without permission a vehicle parked at an Adelaide Place home. The driver reportedly drove into a fence, causing $2,000 in damage.
July 19: A 21-year-old man allegedly struck another man with a metal pipe on Waterman Court.
July 19: A Valley View Parkway resident returned home after a four-week trip to discover that someone burglarized his residence.
July 19: A catalytic converter was stolen from a truck parked at Town Center.
July 19: A vehicle was stolen on Springburn Way.
July 19: Someone kicked in a Highland Hills Drive home’s front door, setting off an audible alarm.
July 20: A thief swiped a truck’s valve caps and scratched the paint while the vehicle was parked on Valley View Parkway.

July 20: Deputies arrested a 45-year-old woman on White Rock Road after she allegedly gave a false name and resisted officers.
Boyfriend of the year
July 20: A 22-year-old man allegedly burglarized his girlfriend’s Longford Way home, stealing her parents’ vehicle to transport the stolen property to a pawn shop where he sold the goods. The suspect was also reportedly found in possession of heroine.
July 20: Deputies broke up a Garlenda Drive party where they allegedly found underage youth drinking alcohol. One juvenile was taken to the hospital.
July 21: A known suspect allegedly stole a bottle of alcohol from a Francisco Drive business.
July 22: Vandals damaged a service truck on a Sienna Ridge Road construction site.
Smash & grab
July 23: Residents on Gemwood Way and Four Seasons Drive reported their vehicles’ windows smashed a property stolen.
July 23: A thief stole a bicycle parked in an open Gemwood Way garage.
July 23: Someone kicked in a second Highland Hills Drive home’s front door. The residence was unoccupied.
July 24: Thieves broke into a Governor Drive home and stole jewelry but apparently left behind an iPad case.
July 24: A burglary was reported on Shelby Court.
