EDH Crime Watch: March 27 through April 2
The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:
March 27: Thieves broke into a Green Valley Road business and stole several items.
March 27: A bicycle found on the Oak Ridge High School campus was taken to the Sheriff’s Department for safekeeping.
March 27: The sheriff’s Special Enforcement Detail officers entered a Busselton Way residence and arrested a 31-year-old man who had an out-of-county warrant.
March 27: Deputies patrolling on Clermont Way arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of public intoxication.
On site burglary
March 28: Burglars broke into a locked garage on a Malcolm Dixon Road construction site and stole copper wire, tools, building plans and they key to a backhoe.
March 28: Thieves entered an unlocked Lomita Way garage door and stole several items.
March 28: Deputies conducting a probation search at a Valley View Parkway residence reportedly found the 26-year-old suspect in possession of anabolic steroids. He was arrested.
March 28: A thief stole a woman’s purse on Gillett Way and later used the victim’s credit cards.
Out of order
March 28: Two men, ages 18 and 24, were arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on Francisco Drive.
March 30: A couple reported that their 23-year-old son damaged their Stonbriar Drive property.
April 1: Someone broke into a vehicle parked on Montecito Court and stole items.
April 1: Vandals spry-painted the side of a Post Street building.
April 1: A vandal busted out a vehicle’s back window on Post Court.
April 2: Deputies arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of public intoxication after they found the suspect sitting in a parked car on Applegrove Circle.
April 2: Vehicle burglaries were reported on Platt Circle and Mesa Verdes Drive.
April 2: Thieves broke into a Golden Foothill Parkway business and stole tools.
Dude, where’s my car?
April 2: A Tierra de Dios resident loaned her vehicle to a family friend but the friend did not return the car.
April 2: A man found a purse in a field near his Platt Circle home.

April 2: Deputies arrested a 26-year-old man, who had a felony warrant out for his arrest, on Village Green Drive.
