Vandal
May 17: A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion vandalism on Uplands Drive.
Petty Theft
May 18: Vandalism and petty theft were reported on Rossmore Lane.
Confiscated
May 18: A shotgun was recovered from a Smokey Mountain Circle residence and booked into the Sheriff’s Office for safekeeping at the request of the Public Guardians Office.
Teen vandals
May 19: A group of teenagers reportedly vandalized a vehicle parked in front of a residence on Whistlers Bend Way.
Found phone
May 19: A 45-year-old female lost her cell phone at a grocery store then used a phone tracking device to locate it in Sacramento County. The phone was found and returned to her.
Great timing
May 20: A male adult interrupted a car burglar reportedly breaking into a vehicle parked in the victim’s driveway on Canberra Place. The suspect fled and nothing was missing.
Grocery run
May 20: A 27-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly stealing from a Post Street grocery store.
Forget something?
May 22: Copper wire was reported stolen from a cell tower. A vehicle believed to belong to the suspect was left the scene of the crime; it has been stored as evidence.
Burglary
May 22: A 38-year-old male reported a burglary on Archetto Drive.
Left it at home
May 22: A 19-year-old man was cited and released for allegedly driving without a license on El Dorado Hills Boulevard.
Couldn’t live without it
May 23: A 44-year-old female renter moved out of a Lakecrest Drive home and reportedly took property that belonged to the house.
Embezzled
May 23: A 55-year-old male allegedly rented a car and didn’t return it.
Want it back
May 23: A Manchester Drive resident reported his utility trailer stolen, allegedly by its former owner.
