EDH Crime Watch: May 2-8
The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:
May 2: A thief stole items from an unlocked vehicle parked on Huntington Circle.
May 2: A 17-year-old boy received a citation after he was allegedly found with alcohol on a Harvard Way school campus.
Out of it
May 2: Deputies approached a man sitting in a parked vehicle in Town Center and determined the 23-year-old was under the influence of a controlled substance. The suspect reportedly had drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
Town Center trouble
May 3: Petty theft and vandalism reports were filed online by separate people related to two Town Center businesses.
What you got there?
May 3: Deputies arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance on Valley View Parkway.
May 4: A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on Saratoga Way.
May 5: Deputies cited a 36-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man who were allegedly occupying a uninhabitable dwelling on Salmon Falls Road. One of the suspects also had an outstanding warrant and was taken to jail.
In the car
May 6: A 19-year-old man stopped on Valley View Parkway reportedly admitting to having a controlled substance in the vehicle. Deputies found the drugs and drug paraphernalia and they arrested the suspect.
Search and recovery
May 6: Deputies served a search warrant at a residence and reportedly found items stolen from several different vehicles. The goods were returned to their owners and an 18-year-old man was arrested.
May 6: A Katie Way resident reported that someone vandalized her air conditioning unit.

May 6: Thieves broke into a Loch Way home and stole two televisions and jewelry.
May 7: Someone broke into a Park Drive storage container and stole recyclable materials.
May 7: A 33-year-old man, allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance, was banging on doors and windows in a White Rock Road neighborhood. The suspect was arrested.
