EDH Crime Watch: May 30 through June 5

The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:

Close call
May 30: Someone tried to break into a vehicle parked on Beechwood Drive.

Vandals strike
May 30: Vandalism was reported on Latham Lane.

Sour grapes
May 30: A vehicle was burglarized on Vineyard Street.

Phones swiped
May 31: A man reported two cell phones stolen from his vehicle parked on Serrano Parkway.

In the way
May 31: Deputies arrested a 45-year-old man on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer during an investigation on Golden Foothill Parkway.

Mail mischief
June 1: Someone vandalized a Belhaven Way cluster mailbox, possibly stealing some mail.

Staying quiet
June 1: Deputies responded to a battery report on El Dorado Hills Boulevard but the victim reportedly refused to cooperate. No one was arrested.

Not so neighborly
June 2: A Bates Circle resident reported that her neighbor threatened her.

Sleeping in
June 3: Deputies found a 22-year-old man sleeping in his vehicle parked on Post Street. Further investigation revealed the suspect had medication but no prescription.

Where’s your receipt?
June 4: Deputies cited a 46-year-old woman who reportedly left a Post Street business without paying for merchandise.

Devilish deed
June 5: Grand theft was reported on Diablo Trail.
