EDH Crime Watch: May 8-14

The following information is taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:

Grab and go
May 8: An unidentified man took off with a 17-year-old boy’s cell phone on Vine Street after asking the teen to borrow it.

Slashed
May 8: Someone slashed a vehicle’s tires on Harvard Way.

Break-in
May 8: Thieves forced entry into a trailer on Malcolm Dixon Road and stole several items.

Too much
May 8: Deputies arrested a 57-year-old man on suspicion of public intoxication and battery on an officer in Town Center.

Found
May 8: A Broome Place resident turned over a purse found on her front lawn.

Jewel theft
May 9: Thieves stole jewelry from a Kensington Drive home.

Got away
May 9: Thieves burglarizing a Saratoga Way convenience store fled the scene after authorities were called.

Vandals strike
May 9: Vandalism was reported on Windplay Drive.

Swiped
May 10: A thief broke a vehicle’s window on Mt. Ranier Way and stole two debit cards.

Unpleasant find
May 11: A Finders Way resident reported that someone painted graffiti on a wall behind her home.

Taken
May 12: A petty theft was reported on Valley View Parkway.

Vandals back
May 12: Vandalism was reported on White Rock Road.

More vandalism
May 13: Vandalism was reported on Harvard Way.

Busted
May 13: Deputies contacted a 20-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman on Via Treviso Lane and reportedly found them in possession of marijuana.

Locked in, locked up
May 13: A 28-year-old man allegedly locked himself into a Town Center bathroom. When deputies got him out they reportedly found the suspect in possession of a controlled substance.

Lifted
May 14: An unidentified woman walked into a Post Street store and took items without paying for them.

More theft
May 14: Someone stole items from a Town Center Boulevard shop.

Vehicle vandalized
May 14: Vandals damaged a vehicle parked on Silva Valley Parkway.
