EDH Crime Watch: Nov. 1-7
The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:
Smashed
Nov. 1: Someone bashed in the rear window of a vehicle parked on El Dorado Hills Boulevard, causing more than $500 in damage.
Vandals busy
Nov. 1: Vandalism was reported on Windplay Drive.
While you were sleeping
Nov. 1: Thieves broke into a truck parked on Olson Lane during the night and stole a wallet. The victim’s credit cards were later used in West Sacramento and Davis.
Back pack snatched
Nov. 1: Thieves smashed the passenger window of a vehicle parked in Town Center and stole a back pack left inside.
Missing keys?
Nov. 2: A set of keys was found on Latrobe Road and turned into the Sheriff’s Department.
Routine patrol
Nov. 3: Deputies on patrol on White Rock Road contacted a 34-year-old man and reportedly discovered him in possession of a controlled substance. The suspect was arrested.
More vandalism
Nov. 3: Vandalism was reported on Patterson Way.
Getting his kicks
Nov. 4: While investigating a battery report in Town Center a deputy was allegedly kicked by a suspect. The 30-year-old man was arrested.
Thief stumbles
Nov. 4: Deputies arrested a 23-year-old man who allegedly planned to steal alcohol from a Francisco Drive store.
Stolen
Nov. 5: A vehicle burglary was reported on Green Valley Road.
Bad sign
Nov. 5: A picketer reportedly made threats to slash people’s tires.
