EDH Crime Watch: Oct. 25-30

The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:

Don’t fight back
Oct. 25: Deputies arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of battery against an officer on Beatty Drive.

Vandals strike
Oct. 26: Vandalism was reported on Garlenda Drive.

Busted
Oct. 27: An 18-year-old man received a citation after he allegedly tried to steal items from a Post Street business.

Fill ‘er up
Oct. 28: A Concordia Drive resident reported a wallet stolen from his vehicle. The thief later used the victim’s credit card at a gas station.

Hike ruined
Oct. 28: Two women returned from a hike off Salmon Falls Road and found their vehicle’s window busted and their purses stolen.

Phony salesman
Oct. 29: A man posing as a cleaning product salesman on Wolf Creek Road ran away after a man approached him. The victim reported that is appeared the suspicious person was casing their home.

Trouble on Vine
Oct. 30: A vehicle burglary was reported on Vine Street.

Cool it
Oct. 30: Two men were reportedly trying to steal copper wiring from a Robert J. Mathews Parkway building’s air conditioning unit. The suspects fled before the job was done.

Another vehicle targeted
Oct. 30: A vehicle burglary was reported on Orofino Drive.
