EDH Crime Watch: Sept. 12-18

The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:

Cash grab
Sept. 12: Someone cut a cash box lock and took the money left inside on El Dorado Hills Boulevard.

Not mine
Sept. 13: Deputies contacted a group of people on Hidden Bridge Drive. One person reportedly confessed that the group hid some marijuana but no single person claimed the drug. Deputies took the marijuana but didn’t arrest or cite anyone.

Speed racers
Sept. 14: Two men, ages 27 and 29, were reportedly caught racing at high speeds on Highway 50. Deputies arrested both men and impounded their vehicles.

Jewel heist
Sept. 14: A thief broke into a Nawal Drive home and stole more than $56,000 worth of jewelry.

Keyed
Sept. 15: A vandal keyed a vehicle parked on Valley View Parkway, causing more that $1,500 in damage.

Ablaze
Sept. 16: Someone set a fire in a Hills Court resident’s trash can.

Brotherly love
Sept. 18: A man found drug paraphernalia in his brother’s vehicle parked on Village Green Drive. He turned the items over to deputies.
