EDH Crime Watch: Sept. 5-12

The following information was taken from El Dorado County sheriff’s reports:

Vandals strike
Sept. 5: Two separate victims reported vandalism on Ridgeview Drive.

Disturbing threats
Sept. 5: An Investment Boulevard business’ employee reported that a 61-year-old man threatened him.

Vandals, again
Sept. 5: Vandalism was reported on Patterson Way.

Fleeing the scene
Sept. 6: A 20-year-old man riding a bicycle on El Dorado Hills Boulevard reportedly tried to outrun deputies, who were in a squad car with lights and sirens activated, after the law enforcement officers tried to stop the rider for vehicle code violations. The suspect eventually gave up and was arrested.

Stolen
Sept. 7: A Manchester Drive resident reported a theft from his home.

Sour skateboarder
Sept. 8: A teenage skateboarder reportedly threatened a Fitzroy Place homeowner who confiscated his skateboard and called the Sheriff’s Department.

Double trouble
Sept. 10: Deputies responding to a report of shots fired on White Rock road contacted three men in the area and reportedly found a 21-year-old man in possession of a dangerous weapon and drug paraphernalia. The suspect was arrested.

More vandalism
Sept. 10: Vandalism was reported on Crown Drive.

Going through the garage
Sept. 10: A thief stole items from a Busselton Way garage.

Pretty petty
Sept. 11: A 17-year-old boy reported a petty theft of Harvard Way.
