EDH bank robbed
A suspect described as a while male wearing a teal fanny pack robbed the Chase Bank in El Dorado Hills Town Center Thursday afternoon, according to El Dorado County sheriff’s officials.
The Sheriff’s Department received the call at 1:10 p.m. The suspect “claimed to have a weapon,” Lt. Bob Ashworth said. That weapons was not seen but, according to Lt. Tim Becker, it was identified by the suspect as a firearm.
The unidentified man took an undisclosed amount of money and left on foot.
No one was hurt in the incident.
The suspect is approximately 20 to 30 years old and around 5-foot-6-inches tall, according to Becker. He was last seen leaving the bank wearing a white thermal shirt with a black undershirt, a black beanie and light denim jeans, Becker said.
