El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce awards three scholarships

The El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce recently award three $750 scholarships 2013 graduates who plan to continue their education at a university, college or technical school.

The Chamber congratulates the following scholarship recipients and wishes them much success: Nathan Somavarapu, Kirsti Buckendorf and Sumner Caesar of Oak Ridge High School.

The scholarships are funded through generous donations from the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce members. The scholarships are based on 50 percent community service, 15 percent work experience and extra curricular activities and 10 percent scholastic GPA and financial need.
