Enjoy an evening out and help support local foster children
Foster Family Service, is hosting a charity event “David Garabaldi Live” on Wednesday, Aug. 10, at the Cameron Park Community Center, 6 to 9:30 p.m.
Garibaldi is a 27-year-old artist that creates 6-foot portraits of pop icons in minutes to music. His dynamic show, “Rhythm and Hue,” has taken him around the world performing for audiences of all ages. He has been seen at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, during the Golden State Warriors half-time with Carlos Santana, and opened for Snoop Dogg over Super Bowl Weekend.
Garibaldi’s recent “beHEARD” mural painted during the Keep the Kings in Sacramento campaign can be seen on display at the corner of 20th and J Street. Visit fosterfamilyservice.org for more information on the artist.
See Garibaldi perform live and have an opportunity to purchase an original work as he directs his talents for the benefit of Foster Family Service, a Cameron Park based non-profit. The evening will include a tri-tip dinner, hosted bar, live auction and raffle. Tickets are $65 or $120 per couple.
If you are unable to attend but would like to sponsor a foster child or family, donations are greatly appreciated and tax deductible; Foster Family Service in a 501c3 non-profit. Foster children will be returning to school soon and are in need of supplies and new clothing. Sponsorships will help with football and cheer fees, tutors, therapists, gymnastics, musical instruments and various other activities for the kids.
