Experience holiday magic at Town Center

The holiday season officially kicks off in El Dorado Hills Town Center with a full calendar of community events to celebrate the season.

“We are officially rolling out the red carpet on Nov. 26 with a visit from Santa and our annual holiday tree lighting,” said Natalie Buerki of El Dorado Hills Town Center. “This is the 47th year of the tree lighting in our community, and every year the energy just grows.”

On Nov. 26 El Dorado Hills Town Center will host an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. The holiday tree lighting event will kick off with a “Disney Rockin’ Road Show” from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and a special “Stuff Your Stocking” game for the first 100 kids. Santa is scheduled to arrive for the tree lighting 6:45 p.m.

To add to the ease of celebrating the holidays, pictures with Santa are available at the California Welcome Center Thursdays through Sundays, Nov. 26 through Dec. 24, with packages starting at $22.99.

The traditional “Santa Run” makes its way to Town Center on Sunday, Dec. 18, and will be topped off with hot cocoa and cookies at the Steven Young Amphitheater. The evening will wrap up with a fireworks finale.

“This is an experience to remember, and clearly a tradition for our community,” said Buerki.

Community performances will be held at Town Center every Saturday in December at noon in the Theater Plaza, and 2 p.m. in the Steven Young Amphitheater.
