A three car collision on westbound Highway 50 between Bass Lake Road and El Dorado Hills Boulevard backed traffic up all the way to Cameron Park Thursday at approximately 9:15 a.m.

No serious injuries were reported, but one driver was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Folsom.

Newly promoted El Dorado Hills Fire Department Capt. Dave Brady was on scene and called the incident a “three-car fender bender.” Two of the three vehicles had to be towed.

Larie Littlejohn of Minden, Nev., said at the scene. “The car in front of me stopped all the sudden. I hit my brakes, and bang-bang I was on the side of the road.”
