ROBERTS TAKES THE OATH — El Dorado Hills Fire Board Director Jim Hartley, right, administers Dave Roberts, left, the Fire Chief’s Oath of Office. The pinning of the badge was subsequently handled by Roberts’ father, retired Army Master Sergeant Dave Roberts Sr., with help from Roberts’ wife Sondra. Later in the ceremony recently promoted Capt. Dave Brady and Engineer Dave Ward were also pinned.
