Fire Poster Contest winners named

Two young ladies know what it takes to safely escape a fire and now their art sharing that message will grace El Dorado Hills Fire Department fire prevention vehicles.

Lakeview Elementary School student Alysia Huang (first through third grade category) and Oak Meadow Elementary School student Lynn Yang (fourth through fifth-grade category) won the department’s annual Fire Poster Contest.

This year’s theme was “2 Ways Out.”

The winners received a $50 Target gift card and their posters will be on display for a year.
