Strap on your bib and get ready for some good eating at the Rotary Club of El Dorado Hills’ Crab Feed on Feb. 19.

The mouth-watering event at the El Dorado Hills Community Services District gymnasium, 1021 Harvard Way, includes all-you-can-eat Dungeness crab, fresh garden salad, pasta and red plum tomato sauce topped with basil and Parmesan cheese, dessert and a no-host bar serving wine, beer and soda.

The Used Blues Band will entertain the crowd with lively blues, and guests will have the opportunity to win raffle prizes and bid on silent auction items.

“All-you-can-eat crab, silent auction, a top notch band — our annual event Feb. 19 will be a very enjoyable evening,” said Bill Tobin, El Dorado Hills Rotary president.

Doors open at 6 p.m.; dinner begins at 7.

Proceeds from this year’s fundraiser will benefit Rotary’s local and international projects. The Rotary Club of El Dorado Hills supports several worthwhile causes, including the planned veterans memorial at Promontory Park, community clean-up and e-waste recycling, Deputy Jeff Mitchell Field, Polio Plus and programs that benefit youth and the needy in our community. This year a portion of the Crab Feed’s profits will also go to Hands 4 Hope, a youth driven outreach organization based in El Dorado Hills.

Tickets are $40 per person in advance, $45 at the door. Order them online at edhcrabfeed.org. You can also pick up tickets at El Dorado Hills Fire Station 85 (corner of El Dorado Hills Boulevard and Wilson Way) and the California Welcome Center in Town Center, or buy them from your friendly El Dorado Hills Rotarian. The Rotary Club of El Dorado Hills is seeking event sponsors and auction item donations.
