Give back
Many people need a helping hand this season. Here are few ways you can make their holidays a little brighter:
• The Hands4Hope Club at Oak Ridge High School has partnered with the El Dorado Hills Library to expand the Warm & Fuzzy Drive. The Oak Ridge H4H Club is collecting new and gently used (clean w/no holes or stains) items to keep those in need warm throughout the winter. They are focusing primarily on teens. Items needed include pajamas, hoodies, sweatpants, jeans, long-sleeved shirts and jackets. Also appreciated are gift cards to Payless Shoes and Walmart. • Bring a new, unwrapped toy or a cash donation to Lyon Real Estate, 3900 Park Drive in El Dorado Hills, for the Toys for Tots program. Lyon is collecting toys through Dec. 15. For more information call (916) 939-5300.
• Every year CASA El Dorado host special shopping trips for families in need. to donate visit casaeldorado.org and click on “donate.”
