H4H costume ball will take you out of this world
Hands4Hope’s Intergalactic Shindig at Area 51 promises to be out of this world on Oct. 18.
Diane Wilkinson Catering will provide a stellar dinner and assortment of appetizers and a live band will entertain guests. There will also be a
silent and live auction, a dessert auction, dancing, fun photo booths and costume contest. “Good Day Sacramento” television personality Mark S. Allen will emcee the event in his usual spirited and fun fashion … no telling what costume he will wear this year.
“The benefit dinner is Hands4Hope’s most important fundraising event and is key to making the programs we do possible,” said Jennifer Bassett, founder and executive director of Hands4Hope. “Hands4Hope currently serves 1,250 young people through our after-school program, in addition to having a service learning program at 14 schools from Sacramento to Placerville. Youth are coming out of our program more confident, more aware, and more willing to take on issues facing their community.”
