Identity sought for person of interest
Surveillance video films unknown man
El Dorado County Sheriff’s deputies have asked the public for assistance in locating a person of interest.
For more than a month now residences on Starbuck Road in Rescue have been plagued with burglaries, according to department officials. The dwellings have been typically hit during daytime hours, usually through forced entry. Suspects in the burglaries have been targeting items including jewelry, money, cell phones and appliances.
A residential surveillance system shot footage of what officials have deemed a person of interest. The subject has been described as a white male adult, likely in his 20s, with short hair.
In the footage the subject is seen wearing a green “Matrix” logo shirt, black pants and black shoes, according to a press release issues last week.
The person of interest is not being sought specifically for the burglaries, but officials are hoping to learn the man’s identity.
Individuals with information that could help identify this person are asked to call Det. Bryan Brown at (530) 642-4711.
