Lindamood-Bell opening new seasonal learning clinic in El Dorado Hills

Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, an internationally recognized leader in literacy research, remediation and professional development, will provide instruction this summer at a Seasonal Learning Clinic in El Dorado Hills, located at Golden Hills School, 1060 Suncast Lane.

Summer instruction for children and adults will be available in both morning and afternoon sessions June 6 through July 29.

Lindamood-Bell instruction develops the cognitive processes that underlie reading, comprehension, and math skills and can also provide solutions for individuals with learning difficulties such as dyslexia, hyperlexia, ADHD and autism spectrum disorders. Lindamood-Bell’s one-to-one instruction develops an individual’s sensory connection to language, focusing on process-based, intensive instruction, rather than content-based (subject-specific) tutoring. The methods used in Lindamood-Bell instruction change the way that one learns to read words and process information and can make a significant difference in an individual’s learning in a relatively short time period.

“Lindamood-Bell programs have changed the lives of so many students,” said Terri Mehl, director of the El Dorado Hills Seasonal Learning Clinic. “I am excited for the El Dorado Hills community to experience and be a part of that success.”

Individuals interested in summer instruction can call (916) 929-8183 or e-mail eldoradohills.info@lindamoodbell.com.
