Mercy Medical Group opens second Folsom office

Mercy Medical Group, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, will open its second medical office building in Folsom with specialty physician offices on Sept. 17.

The new location, at 1730 Prairie City Road, is adjacent to the first Mercy Medical Group location at 1700 Prairie City Road in the same office complex. It will house specialty care physicians in the areas of allergy, behavioral health, cardiology, geriatrics, neurology, pulmonology, OB/GYN, occupational medicine and urology. The 1700 Prairie City Road location will continue to offer family medicine, orthopedics and podiatry.

“We are pleased to add additional specialty services in this growing community,” said Greg Cooper, DPM, CEO, Mercy Medical Group Inc. “It is very important to Mercy Medical Group to provide excellent, clinical care to our patients throughout the greater Sacramento region.”

Dignity Health Medical Foundation operates care centers throughout California. “One of the primary goals of our organization is to identify the need for top rated health care throughout the areas we serve,” said  Jag Gill ScD, FACHE, FACMPE, president and CEO of Dignity Health Medical Foundation. “Mercy Medical Group continues to be a health care leader in this area giving patients the opportunity to seek exceptional care where they live.”

These physicians provide care to patients at Mercy Hospital of Folsom.
