Mr. 9,000 tries to strike out old record

It’s not every day we have a Guinness Book of World Records champion in our community gearing up for another record, and that’s what Mike Mosley will be doing on Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Hard 90 Baseball Academy in El Dorado Hills.

Known as Mr. 9,000 for his world-record feat of accurately and rapidly pitching 9,000 baseballs in an eight-hour batting practice session, Mosley will attempt to break his own record and throw 10,000 pitches in an eight-hour session.

Come see regional area youth of all ages be part of history as they take 20 swings each against Mr. 9,000 at the Clubhouse, 1235 Glen Haven Court in El Dorado Hills, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
