New lawyers for CSD?

The El Dorado Hills Community Services District is entertaining proposals for legal counsel through May 8, and will interview candidate law firms in May and June.

The board has adopted a new professional services policy, to “make sure we do not get too comfortable with our relationships and fail to recognize a new ‘best practice’ or fail to revisit the who, what, when, why and how the District is buying goods and services,” according to Interim General Manager Rich Ramirez.

Under the new policy, all contract services will be reviewed every three years, with proposals sought every three to five years, unless the board specifically waives the requirement.
