Oak Ridge High School students and staff participated in a big way in the Advanced Leadership students’ Be Change donation week events benefitting Oak ridge Elemtnary school in Sacramento.
More than $1,500 in donated money was collected as well as 10,000 canned goods and 25 large bags of new and gently used clothing. Most impressively, students, staff and the community donated school supplies to provide every Oak Ridge Elementary student (420) with a school pouch of pencils, pens, Kleenex, handsanitizer and erasers. Each teacher also received a gift bag of teaching and class supplies.
