Darlene Neeley, El Dorado Hills “They’€™ve taken 15 rattlesnakes out of our yard. The last one was 4 feet long. This nice woman firefighter took it out and put in a tube. I don’€™t know what they do with them, but I’€™m sure glad they do it. Now I feed the blue jays. They chase the snakes out.”

Marilyn Marcroft, El Dorado Hills "They saved my husband's life 20 years ago … arrived in five minutes and kept him from dying. He'€™s had 20 years to see his daughter grow up and get to know his grandchildren because of the El Dorado Hills Fire Department."
Julie Rand, El Dorado Hills "€œI haven'€™t had to use it, thankfully, but I'm glad to know they'€™re there for us. I read about their retirements in the Village Life."
Dennis Cox, El Dorado Hills "There was a fire behind our house a couple years ago and they showed up right away. I don't care how much they make or what they do between calls. I want them there when I need them, same for police."
Debra Macgregor, Rescue "€œThe Rescue and Cameron Park Fire Departments saved our home. We had a burn pile from the prior day that flared up while we were gone. It burned right up to our house. They got there just in time."
