Nikki Varner, El Dorado Hills: “Right now I’m getting like 500 texts a day from this one person .… it’s kind of a stalker situation. But I would die without my phone. My whole life is on here.”
Morgan Lskiera, El Dorado Hills: “It has changed my life profoundly and abundantly. How does that sound? Without my phone I wouldn’t know where I was … I mean, literally, it keeps me from getting lost. And how cool to have a computer to look things up right at your fingertips?”
Rachael Stuoll, Elk Grove: “Besides friends, I can communicate with family, some of who are a long ways away. It also helps my boss keep track of me. I also use my phone to ‘document memories’ … that means take pictures.”

Tom Krygier, Cameron Park: “I’ve made it 70 or so years without a cell phone and I don’t think I need one now. Well, my wife has one so I guess that counts. Besides, I’m not much on small talk. My grandkids call me ‘grump-pa.’”
