Mike Roberts Placerville “I can’t wait for the second season of 'Treme' to be released to DVD. It’s a post-Katrina New Orleans drama by David Simon, the guy who did 'The Wire,' the best television show ever made, IMHO. Each 'Treme' episode is a clinic in storytelling and character development. Simon worked dozens of local musicians into season one. The DVD has a special ‘music director’s cut’ that explains who they all are and what they did before and after Katrina. I gained a real appreciation for New Orleans music.”
Adriana De Persia El Dorado Hills “I don’t watch TV. I don’t like drama. Comedy’s OK, I guess. I’m in college and don’t have time for that kind of stuff.”
Kellie Moran El Dorado Hills “I love reality shows. ‘Big Brother’ just ended. I’m sad.”
Jimmy Johnson Cameron Park “I’m attracted to the edgy stuff like ‘Sons of Anarchy’ and ‘Breaking Bad.’ They depict life on the fringe very vividly, and are kind of addicting.”
Aaron Ochoa Cameron Park “'Wilfred’ is cool. It’s a dark comedy about a suicidal guy played by Elijah Wood. He was Frodo in ‘The Lord of the Rings.’ But Wilfred is definitely not Frodo. It’s not for everyone. I’m also looking forward to the new season of 'CSI'.”
