”The entire region needed to do more. The Kings weren’t a strictly Sacramento team. The fans came from all over the region. It’s unfortunate that there was no effort to get the outlying communities involved in keeping the team here. They had an incredible brand; it dropped off the last few years, but in their day those guys tore it up.”
